Our personal favorite last season was from famous Japanese designer Tadashi Shoji who had really set the trend in his Fall 2015 runway show during New York Fashion Week. We obsessed over the trend so much that we purchased 5 different styles from the collection all featuring the Cape Trend. Take a look at some of the pieces including a refined version of the style that Kim is wearing
The Golden Cape Gown - Seen on actress Sophia Bush Black Tie Affair And in the Tadashi Shoji Venice inspired 2015 Runway This piece sold before we could showcase it in our boutique! Beautiful embroidered gold thread intricately sewn throughout the dress to reveal a beautiful lace-like pattern. This two piece gown (Cape not sewn into dress) really revolutionized the meaning of making an elegant entrance for our clients.
Gold metallic embroidered cape retails at $948. The Visionary Bride We had many clients who loved the look so much but didn't find it practical for their event. So of course we had to present them with a similar option... The Tadashi Shoji Metallic Embroidered Chain Cocktail ... Voilá! Only $378 on our website!
Cocktail Attire - Art Gala, Work Function, Wine Auction The Black Capelette - Refined version of Kim K's look. Another Tadashi Shoji from our collection for $368 - We told you its totally affordable ! (also available in a Hunter Green)
Wedding Guest or Auction dinner And there is a short version too! Available in store in Red. Work Attire We're pretty confident this is a trend that will be sticking around for a while.
